Next year's Longines Royal International Horse Show has been brought forward a week due to the London Olympic Games. The dates for the CSIO***** will be 17-22 July 2012 to avoid a clash with the Olympics, which run from 27 July to 12 August.

The FEI Nations Cup of Great Britain™, which will form the penultimate leg in the FEI Nations Cup series, will be held on Friday 20 July.

"With the FEI Nations Cup series nearing its conclusion at Hickstead, there will be much to play for and we expect competition to be as fierce as ever," says Hickstead director Lizzie Bunn.

The course designer for Hickstead is Bob Ellis, who will also design the Olympic course at Greenwich.

"We hope some of the top international riders will compete at Hickstead on their non-Olympic rides, as they will have the opportunity to jump round Bob Ellis' tracks just before the Games," adds Lizzie.

The British Jumping Derby Meeting will retain its usual spot and will run from 20-24 June, while the All England Jumping Championships will be held from the 6-9 September, following a successful first year for Hickstead's new national show.

The Hurstpierpoint College National Schools and Pony Club Jumping Championships have been brought forward a week to 27 July 2012.
