Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of
Great Britain

23 – 28 July 2019

The Longines Royal International Horse Show

The Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Great Britain at the Longines Royal International Horse Show (23-28 July) is one of the oldest equestrian events in the world, as well as one of the biggest outdoor horse shows in the country.

Showjumping highlights include the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Great Britain, the Longines BHS King George V Gold Cup, the Science Supplements BHS Queen Elizabeth II Cup and the MS Amlin Eventers’ Challenge. These historic classes attract the very best riders in the world, and there’s no better place than Hickstead for getting up close to these equestrian superstars.

Hickstead is a highlight of the West Sussex social calendar. Her Majesty The Queen is the official show patron, giving the show its Royal prefix. It’s a great place for celebrity spotting too – British Horse Society president Martin Clunes loves coming to the show, and other celebrities to visit in recent years include model Jodie Kidd, Davina McCall, Richard Hammond, Jennifer Saunders and TV news anchor Alastair Stewart. Ladies’ Day on the Saturday offers some amazing prizes for Hickstead’s best dressed guests, with luxury spa breaks and gourmet meals on offer from some of West Sussex’s best hotels. `

With more than 200 stands in the Charles Owen Shopping Village, there is plenty to tempt visitors away from the thrilling equestrian action. As well as stands selling equestrian tack and clothing, you can browse some of the country’s leading country fashion brands or check out the fabulous range of footwear, gifts and homeware on offer.

Children are in for a treat too, whether they’re pony mad or not. Visit the new Family Fun Zone to enjoy the funfair or be entertained by local star Tomfoolery. Over at our brand new Hickstead Hoedown, we will have Crazy Mini Golf, laser clay shooting, a 'Climb the Rockies' climbing wall, a massive 'Slide ‘em Cowboy' inflatable slide, and on Saturday 27 July only, a good ol’ bucking bronco to test your stickability. All of this will be just behind the famous Derby bank, so bring the whole family along for some fabulous fun.

For foodies, Hickstead has plenty to tantalise and tempt your taste buds. Explore some of the local delicacies in our Food Hall, check out the myriad of stands selling delicious street food, or bring your own picnic and find the perfect ringside spot to enjoy the glorious British countryside. For a truly glamorous day, choose one of the Hospitality options, from the Members’ Restaurant  overlooking the International Arena to Private Boxes, offering the perfect way to spend the day with customers, family or friends.
