National competition begins today with some prestigious championship showjumping qualifiers in the national rings. There are the last qualifiers for the SEIB Winter Novice and the Winter Grades B & C Championships, plus a variety of height classes for both horses and ponies, from 1.00m to 1.35m. Showing classes also begin today with a busy day of Skewbald and Piebald classes.
Today is national competition only and admission is free. All show services and facilities are not fully operational until tomorrow.
