Where to eat

Picnics are allowed on the showground, although don't forget that we have a host of restaurants, bars and catering concessions to choose from. We also have the Members' Restaurant, the Dark Horse Ringside Terrace and the Clubhouse Bar and Grill on offer.

Members

Dress code is smart casual within the Members’ Restaurant and Private Viewing Boxes. Daily Members' Enclosure tickets are available and can be bought both online and on-site. General Admission tickets can also be upgraded, although our Members' Enclosure does sell out on our busiest days.

Dogs

We are a dog friendly event, but dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, largely for their own safety. We respectfully ask you to help us keep our showground clean, and clean up after your dog. It is forbidden to leave dogs in cars, and if we see any dogs in distress we will take action.

Shopping

With more than 200 exhibitors, our Charles Owen-sponsored shopping village is a hive of retail activity. If you are a seasoned shopper and intend to spend the entire day seeking out excellent show discounts and special offers, or if you are merely looking for a souvenir of your day out, we have something to suit your tastes.

Family Fun Zone

Your little ones will love Tomfoolery's interactive fun and games, the hilarious magic show and the hobby horse jump off! Situated next to the funfair and food court in the Charles Owen Shopping Village, the Fun Zone is open from 10am – 5pm daily. All activities are free and open to kids of any age.

New to The Longines Royal International Horse Show we have our Hickstead Hoedown, featuring: Crazy Mini Golf, laser clay shooting, a 'Climb the Rockies' climbing wall, a massive 'Slide ‘em Cowboy' inflatable slide, and on Saturday 27 July only, a good ol’ bucking bronco to test your stickability. All of this will be just behind the famous Derby bank, so bring the whole family along for some fabulous fun.

Hickstead official clothing

The range from our official merchandiser Beewear Ltd contains everything a Hickstead fan might want, from chic polo shirts and comfy hoodies, to Hickstead umbrellas, hand towels and cosy blankets - there are even Hickstead director's chairs!

Bee Beauchamp of Beewear Ltd. invites you all to check out the range online or at one of our shows.

Mobility scooters

Please note that Better Life Mobility scooters will have a presence on the showground, and mobility scooters will be available to hire. Please click here to book a scooter in advance of the show.

Cash point

There will be a cash point available on the showground. It will be located behind the members' enclosure within the Charles Owen shopping village.
