Welcome to the
Hickstead eNewsletter

The heatwave continued today with another sunny day at Hickstead - the good news is that tomorrow is due to be a little cooler! It was another fabulous day of competition at the Prenetics Royal International Horse Show, with some hugely talented equines in action in our Al Shira'aa young horse classes. It makes us so excited for the future seeing such brilliant potential showjumping stars come forward for these championships.

In the showing, one of our favourite classes of the year took place - the Saracen Horse Feeds Supreme Hunter championship. In the end, a lightweight got the nod with a very familiar face on board - find out who won in our daily round-up.

As well as all of today's news and videos, we take a look at what's coming up tomorrow, plus we have a prize draw to win a portable air-con unit from Total Cool. It's a prize that would come in extremely handy for days like this!

Peter Moloney and Megan James both produced one-two placings in the Al Shira'aa RIHS Young Horse classes at Hickstead. Peter's double came in the Seven Year Old Final, while Megan's was in the Five Year Olds. Megan also had a fourth place in the same class and ended up with four in the top 10 - impressive! In the Al Shira'aa RIHS Six Year Old final, Nicole Lockhead Anderson took the win with her own Emerald Irish Cruise, a horse who has been on great form all week. After today's showing results, we are already full of anticipation for Sunday's Supreme Championships! Jayne Ross booked her spot in the British Horse Society Supreme Horse final, winning the Saracen Horse Feeds Supreme Hunter Championship with the lovely lightweight Temple Ogue. Meanwhile, the Corroconsult BSPS Heritage M&M Supreme Ridden Championship went to top show producer Katy Marriott Payne and the Dartmoor stallion Salcombe Starehole Bay. They'll be among those lining up for the Supreme Products Supreme Pony championship, and we can't wait to see how the finals play out. Click below for our full report.
