If you haven't yet booked your tickets for the Al Shira'aa Hickstead Derby Meeting (20-23 June), there are a number of ways to save money on admission.
If you attend on Thursday 20 June, admission is free (though a £15 parking charge does apply). It's an excellent opportunity to watch some showjumping and browse our shopping village before the showground gets really busy over the weekend.
Children under 15 go free from Thursday to Saturday. There's plenty to entertain younger visitors, including a funfair, lots of tradestands, delicious food and drink, plus horses and ponies of all shapes and sizes.
The Sunday is Al Shira'aa Derby day - when you can take part in the Public Coursewalk before enjoying one of the most famous showjumping classes in the world. Tickets for this day are always popular, but if you book before Friday 14 June you will receive a 10% discount on all advance purchases, including parking, for every day of the show.
A good way to save money throughout the Hickstead season is to opt for Annual Membership - for £200 you get Members' access to every day of our shows, along with admission to dozens of polo, racing and cricket fixtures. |

This July, the Brits will be hoping to secure victory in the upcoming Agria Nations Cup of Great Britain, to give them a second consecutive win in this prestigious team showjumping competition.
This year marks the start of a new chapter for the Nations Cup of Great Britain, which was previously part of a global FEI series. Hickstead will now run their own independent Nations Cup, similar to some of the other leading venues throughout the world to run standalone Nations Cup competitions, including Aachen, Falsterbo and Spruce Meadows. This could only be possible thanks to the generous support of our new title sponsor, Agria.
Held on the Friday of the Agria Royal International Horse Show, this class sees riders compete as a quartet over two challenging rounds of jumping. The British riders will face some stiff competition, with leading showjumping nations including Brazil, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden all sending teams. |
