The Bunn family is proud to continue Douglas Bunn's showjumping legacy. Douglas' six youngest children are actively involved with the All England Jumping Course at Hickstead, while Edward and Lizzie are in charge of running of the showground.
Brother and sister Edward and Lizzie Bunn are in charge of managing the running of the showground on a day-to-day basis, while Douglas' four youngest children all successfully combine their Director roles at Hickstead with other busy careers.
John Bunn is the Financial Director of Hickstead and, up until its sale in late 2019, was Managing Director of the family's main business Bunn Leisure. John remains a highly-respected consultant within the UK holiday industry and is a director of the governing body, The NCC. John’s other passion is polo - he is Chairman of the All England Polo Club at Hickstead, a Director of Cowdray Park Polo Club and an active committee member of the Hurlingham Polo Association.
Chloe (herself a former British international showjumper) is based at Hickstead with her husband, Irish international showjumper Shane Breen. Together they run their business Breen Equestrian from Hickstead.
Daisy combines her Hickstead duties with her own photography business Honeybunn Photography and Charlie his with being a chef.
Douglas' eldest three daughters Claudia, Lavinia and Theresa are not actively involved in the showground but have always taken a keen interest in Hickstead.
Many of Douglas' grandchildren are also increasingly involved with the showground, and there are many keen riders among them. Edward's daughter Lucy is herself an accomplished international showjumper, riding for William and Pippa Funnell at the Billy Stud, and his son, William, is the Showground Manager. Lizzie's daughter, Ellie, is Showjumping Manager.
