The Village Green is a vibrant shopping, dining, and entertainment area during the Agria Royal International Horse Show. Equine and lifestyle trade stands are featured, along with a selection of street food vans and a licensed bar with covered seating.
Your General Admission ticket provides you with access to the Village Green, and under-15's receive free admission, when accompanied by an adult.
Younger children will love the performances from Tomfoolery, Sussex's much-loved children's entertainer, whose energetic shows are always packed with laughter and audience participation. There are also face painters, a colourful funfair, and the ever-popular Hobby Horse Derby, where budding young equestrians can saddle up on their hobby horses and race for glory.
Throughout the day, the atmosphere is brought to life with performances from Choir & Ko, alongside the sounds of the brass band and The Rat Pack, creating the perfect backdrop to a relaxed afternoon with family and friends.
As the sun goes down on Saturday evening, the Village Green transforms for the highly-anticipated Hickstead Hoedown. This much-loved event has quickly become a favourite tradition among Hickstead regulars, featuring live country music, line dancing, a licenced bar, street food, and the opportunity to test your skills on the bucking broncos.
