Are dogs allowed on the showground?
Yes, but they must be kept on a lead at all times. Any dogs left in vehicles and in distress will be forcibly removed by the Organisers.
Is there electric hook-up in the Stablefield?
There are now a number of areas in the Stablefield with electric on a strictly first come, first served basis. This needs to be paid for in advance with your entries. Electric hook-up costs £140 at the Al Shira'aa Hickstead Derby Meeting, £160 at the Agria Royal International Horse Show and £140 at the All England Jumping Championships, and unfortunately cannot be discounted for single night usage.
Is there a Stablefield shop?
Yes, there is a newsagent-style shop at the bottom of the Stablefield, that sells most essentials. Please do tell us if there are additional items you'd like us to stock and we will do our best to get them.

Do I need to be a member to compete?
All jumping competitors must attain a Show or Annual Membership. Membership is not required for showing entries.
Show members will receive a wristband per member and car pass.
Annual Membership will be valid for all of Hickstead's shows throughout the season. Each annual member will receive their RIHS membership wristband and car pass with their Derby membership wristband and car pass.

Where is the riders car park?
The riders car park is located at the top of the Stable Field near the exit.
Exhibitors and visitors parking in the Riders’ Car Park at the top of the Stable Field near the exit will be charged £15 per day or £45 for the week. Car passes can be purchased in advance or on the day.
Do I need to bring my own shavings & haylage?
You are allowed to bring your own shavings and haylage, however both are available to purchase at the stable managers office on arrival at a rate of £16 per shaving bale, and £18 per 30kg of haylage. £2 discount applies to both when pre-ordered.
Where can I find the class numbers?
Numbers competing in each showing class will be published on the 'Hickstead Competitors' Facebook page, the evening before the day of class.
What is the refund policy for entries?
If you wish to cancel entries, you will receive a full refund, if cancelling before the entry closing date. Derby entries close 20 May 2024, RIHS showing entries close 3 June, and jumping entries close 10th June 2024.
Any cancellations after this date, will receive a 50% refund up until 48 hours before the show.
Stabling is non-refundable.
