Tickets have gone on sale for Hickstead’s two flagship international events – the Al Shira’aa Hickstead Derby Meeting (18-21 June) and the Agria Royal International Horse Show (22-26 July 2026).
The Box Office has opened just in time for Christmas, with Hickstead tickets a perfect last-minute gift option for any fans of horse sport. The tickets are available to download instantly, making them ideal stocking fillers. There is also the option to purchase ‘any day’ tickets for the Agria Royal International Horse Show, which allows the gift recipient to choose which day they would like to attend the show.
There are a number of discounts available, including free admission for under-15s every day of the season except Al Shira’aa Derby Day (21 June). There is also free general admission for everyone on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 June, with a parking fee applying.
“We have made the decision to extend our free admission offer to include the Friday of the Al Shira’aa Hickstead Derby Meeting for 2026,” said Hickstead Director Lizzie Bunn. “We wanted to encourage visitors to come down to experience Hickstead’s superb sport and shopping for themselves.”
The Thursday of the Derby Meeting includes the Derby Tankard, while Friday’s highlight is the Agria Derby Trial, a World Ranking class featuring some of Hickstead’s iconic permanent fences, which act as a qualifier for the Al Shira’aa Derby itself.
The Agria Royal International Horse Show is one of the biggest equestrian events in the world, featuring iconic classes such as the Agria Nations Cup of Great Britain, the JCL Insurance Brokers Queen Elizabeth II Cup, the Ashby Underwriting Eventers’ Challenge and the Al Shira’aa King George V Gold Cup. There are also hundreds of championship showing classes, a large shopping village and the Village Green family area, with a live music stage, street food stalls, hobby horse jumping, a funfair and lots more.
Prices for daily tickets start from just £20 per adult, with concessions available, but there are options to suit all budgets. Upgrading to the Members’ Enclosure gives visitors access to covered seating in the Members’ Grandstand, while they can also visit the Champagne Bar and Terrace.
Other optional upgrades include ringside parking and the Highweald Ringside Terrace, which gives access to a raised viewing platform with its own cafe bar.
For a truly special day, choose one of the hospitality options including lunch in the Members’ Restaurant, the Al Shira’aa Suite, or a Private Box with a glass-fronted balcony, overlooking the International Arena. Gift vouchers for hospitality are on sale now.
