Millman is Dorian Williams winner

Every year, the Dorian Williams Trophy is presented to a person or team in recognition of their contribution to the successful running of the Agria Royal International Horse Show. This year’s recipient is Kevin Millman.

Kevin has been part of the Hickstead time for 34 years, started as a course builder in 1992, which was the first year the Royal International was held at Hickstead. He has built Hickstead’s renowned Working Hunter courses for more than 25 years, and is a Level 3 qualified course builder.

He is also a highly respected figure in the scurry driving world, with his wife Alison and now daughter Jemma both passionate scurry drivers, and Kevin having designed the scurry driving courses at all the major events.

“We’re delighted to present Kevin with the Dorian Williams Trophy in recognition of his long and valued service to the showground,” said Show Director Edward Bunn.  “His wife Alison always says that Kevin loves Ring 5 more than his family! He might be retiring, but he will always be a part of the Hickstead family.”
